Star-Spangled Sailabration 2012
More than two dozen majestic tall ships and grey hulls from around the world sail to the Baltimore Inner Harbor and Chesapeake Bay for Star-Spangled Sailabration 2012, an international maritime festival, on Wednesday, June 13 through Tuesday, June 19.
Star-Spangled Sailabration 2012 launches Star-Spangled 200, Maryland’s three-year celebration of the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 and penning of the National Anthem.
Thousands of sailors and visitors are expected in the area for a fun-filled week of free on-board public tours of ships, official visits by international dignitaries and Navy leadership, fireworks, crew sporting competitions, community service projects, living history displays, educational activities, public art project and an awesome air show featuring the famed Blue Angels.

- Martin State Airport

Volunteers
There are hundreds of fun ways to lend a hand. Volunteer opportunities include everything from helping with cooking demonstrations and being a volleyball referee to hosting the guest services table and to teaching people about the visiting ships. There is truly something for everyone!
